For those who've never done an exchange out of AO3: You will only be able to select characters that are canonical. I am the tag wrangler for St. Trinian's and will gladly make canonicals for characters that aren't already present that you are going to want to select for the exchange. Check the list and if the character/group that you know you're going to want to request/offer isn't there leave me a comment and I will make sure they are by the time sign ups open.
